With Generous Funding from the Kellogg Foundation, CDBA created the Impact at Scale Program, accompanying Practitioner Guides, and other resources to help mission-focused banks build their brand, gain a competitive edge for CDFI Fund dollars, impact investors, and reach more small business customers.

 

The Impact @ Scale Initiative is CDBA's answer to the growing need for impact and marketing training. It is a long-term initiative designed to build the capacity of mission focused banks, including Community Development Financial Institutions, Minority Depository Institutions, and those financing environmental sustainability to maximize their effectiveness and impact.

 

Operated through a partnership between the CDBA and Partners for the Common Good, the initiative seeks to empower banks to integrate purpose and impact into their business strategies and better communicate their value to internal and external stakeholders.

 

We are excited to present our Practitioner Guides and other resources for your continuous learning!

 

The Purpose, Brand, and Culture Practitioner Guide explores the purpose of driving CDFI bank, MDI, and environmentally sustainable bank brands forward, creating differentiated positioning built on the bank's uniquepurpose and activating these ideas through extraordinary bank cultures.

 

This Basics of Impact Analytics Practitioner Guide serves as a primer and introduction for staff and banks new to impact measurement and management (IMM). This guide will provide a high-level overview of the basics of IMM. The guide is part of a series: each component will dive deeper into the themes of the Impact @ Scale (I@S) curriculum.
